oth group and private lessons are available at Crow Hollow. The range in ability of the lesson horses and the diverse backgrounds of the instructors allows the program to meet the demands of beginning through advanced students, in Dressage, Hunter-Jumpers and Combined Training. The lesson program remains flexible so that with help from the instructors, students can design a program that meets their needs. For some students it is important to develop comfort and balance enough to ride out on trails. In contrast, other students want a structured training program with specific competition goals in mind.

The lesson program is carefully structured, allowing students to be involved with the farm activities if they wish. Crow Hollow feels that one of the most important ways to develop horsemanship is through handling the horses on the ground. Working around the horses in the barn fosters both an understanding of the needs and sensibilities of the horses as well as a comfort level for students that cannot be established from riding lessons alone. This aspect of the lesson program gives students the chance to get a taste of the fun and work that is involved in having a horse of their own.
